They are not many. And I'm not sure I'll be too good at this, but MCG suggested I give it a try.
First off...the people over at, well in the "Liberal" Blogosphere are nasty and unpleasant and best left alone. That's my advice to those of you who keep going over there like rubberneckers at a trainwreck. Just stay away. They won't ever get reasonable, rational or pleasant, so no use hoping.
Second...I'm fat. And I am mighty displeased with my situation. I don't need anyone to "understand" me or "accept" me because I'm 40 pounds overweight. What I need is to do something about it, because I don't like it. And if someone can get a laugh off at my expense...more power to 'em!
Right now is the Holiday Season. My work is very wrapped around the Holiday Season. I am already sick of Christmas carols and its December 3. I have a 3 week race to endure until I get a break around December 23 or so. Wish me luck til then.
Oh, and it's nice to be here, too.

I bring welcome greeting from that mean and nasty old liberal left.
I'm with you on the christmas songs. I change stations and can't find a one that isn't playing them. Something about this year is making me cranky about the whole thing. I think it's cause they have been stuffing it all down our throats since just after Halloween.
Again, welcome to blog world! :)
Hey, there! Welcome to the blogosphere. Nice that you could join us.
"the people over at, well in the "Liberal" Blogosphere are nasty and unpleasant and best left alone"
Ain't that the truth.
Wow, Thank you for the greeting. And I didn't mean you, for sure, when I was talking about the left. In fact I really had one place in mind, but thought it better not to mention them by name :-)
But I am honored and pleased that you have come to visit already...
Welcome, Mrs. CG, to the blogosphere. I can't promise to leave my unreason or irrationality at home; as CG will doubtless tell you, those are just part of me. But most of the time I can at least be pleasant about it!
The only thing that saves Christmas music for me is having been involved for decades with professional performances of really, really old Christmas music. Sooner or later, though, every musician makes his or her peace with Christmas music... life's too short to do otherwise!
Again, welcome to the world of the blogs. May the 'sphere treat you well.
Hello.
i frequently differentiate Liberalism from both the totalitarian governmental philosophies of both Communism and Fascism
one of the great propaganda achievements of movement conservtatism (which has become rightest) is the trashing of the terms Liberal and liberal in the American vocabulary.
America is a Liberal Democratic Republic..... the foundational documents to include the Constitution and Declaration of Independence are grounded by insights derived from European Liberalism that emerged from the Enlightenment.
here is a video..... clipped at the end, but the lad is doing a nice job of diferentiating Libreralism from some other "isms".....

apologize for the spelling errors.... rightist and movement conservativism.... which i call "Modern Republicanism", although, ironically, the term "Modern Republicanism" was used in the era of Dwight D. Eisenhower to denote acceptance of the Liberal innovations employed by FDR with the New Deal....
Movement Conservativism as we know it today need only measure the Republican drift away from Liberalism compared to the days of Ike.
